Clubhouse is a golf app for scoring rounds with your friends. This page explains what it keeps about you, who can see it, and how to delete it. We don't sell your data, show ads or use analytics or tracking tools.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address and username. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email and, the first time, your name. With Apple you can hide your email; we then get a private relay address.
- Your profile: your name, home course, Handicap Index and its history, your golfer's look and your bag.
- Your golf: games you join, your tees, scores, posts, Nices, attests, awards and trophies.
- Friends: who you add, your friend code, round invitations, and who you've muted.
- Location, only while you use the app: your position shows you on the hole and your distance to the green on your phone. It's sent to us only when you mark where your ball is (saved with that shot), mark a green, or look for courses near you.
- Camera: used only to scan a friend's code. Clubhouse doesn't take, upload or store photos.
Clubhouse has no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting tools, and it doesn't track you across other apps or websites.
Who can see it
- Everyone in your game sees your name, golfer, tees, scores and posts for that game.
- Other golfers can see your posts, unless you turn off sharing with everyone in Profile › Settings. A posted round appears once its game closes. Golfers who can see your posts can also open your profile: your golfer, name, username, home course, Handicap Index and trophy count.
- Friends also see your rounds, best scores, head-to-head record and trophy shelf.
- Anyone you give your friend code to sees your name, username, golfer, Handicap Index and home course.
Services that help run Clubhouse
- Supabase hosts our database and sign-in.
- PubNub tells your phone that something changed in a game so it can refresh. The message holds no scores, names or locations.
- GolfCourseAPI receives your course search and, when you look for courses near you, your approximate location.
- Google Maps draws the course map on your phone.
- Apple and Google handle Sign in with Apple and Continue with Google.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and keeps waitlist emails, with the country the sign-up came from.
These providers process data only to run their part of Clubhouse.
Deleting your account
In the app, go to Profile › Settings › Delete account. This removes your sign-in, email, username, profile, golfer, friends and everything you posted.
Scores you entered in games with other people, and attests you gave on their posts, stay as Deleted golfer, so their results, side games and awards don't change. If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke Clubhouse's access to your Apple ID.
Deleted data may stay in our encrypted backups for up to 30 days before it's gone for good. You can also email us to delete your account or ask for a copy of your data.
Children
Clubhouse is not for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has an account, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change how Clubhouse uses your information, we'll update this page and its date. For a significant change, we'll tell you in the app first.
